Registration for Canada’s very first quidditch tournament is now open.
Carleton University’s quidditch team is proud to host the Canadian Cup — a one-day event happening Sat. Oct. 29 in Ottawa, Ont. This event replaces a previously announced Montreal tournament and will be the only Canadian quidditch competition happening before the World Cup.
This is an IQA-sponsored regional tournament and registration is free for official member teams. Results from matches will influence IQA rankings.
Teams that are not yet IQA members are invited to attend, but must pay a $100 registration fee or pay their IQA membership dues prior to the tournament.
Team rosters should have seven to 21 players, as per IQA rules. Teams should also bring players or spectators able to serve as referees, snitches and scorekeepers.
Team captains can register their team below until Fri. Sept. 30. Team rosters will not need to be confirmed until closer to the tournament date.
Register your team online now!
For more information, please email cu.quidditch@gmail.com or post a query on the tournament’s Facebook event page.
