Make sure to speak slowly and clearly as you throw that Floo Powder into the Fireplace — you wouldn’t want to end up anywhere but the second annual Philadelphia Brotherly Love Cup at Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia, Penn. With 13 teams competing for the cup on Oct. 15, two games will be going on simultaneously from 12 noon until 7 p.m. when the champions will walk (erm…fly) away in victory.
The second annual Philadelphia Brotherly Love Cup is part of a Harry Potter Weekend in Chestnut Hill which finds Germantown Ave. transformed into the Diagon Alley we know and love. Weekend activities range from herbology class for children to the “Hunt for the Horcruxes Pub Crawl” for adult fans. Events are taking place from Oct. 14-16 with the quidditch tournament being a Saturday highlight.
Surpassing last year’s registration numbers, the 13 teams scheduled to be in attendance at the cup are SUNY Geneseo, Stony Brook University, Christopher Newport University, Johns Hopkins University, Penn State University, University of Maryland, the New York Badassilisks, the Augustinian Aurors (Nova), the Jetpack Ninja Dinosaurs, the Delaware Valley Dragons, Lafayette College, the State College Area Quidditch Club and the Chestnut Hill Griffins themselves.
The family-friendly tournament is free and open to the public. Check out the Facebook event for information on the tournament, and the Destination website for more information on the Harry Potter Weekend.

My team is from Kutztown University and are just joining the IQA this week. Is there anyway we can still sign up to play in this tournament?
