The IQA is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join its editorial team. Interested applicants should Email Alicia Radford with a cover letter stating your experience and one to three writing samples.
Website features intern — assign, edit and post feature stories, including staff profile pieces. Brainstorm ideas for other features (such as weekly team or player profiles). Must have working knowledge of AP style, Photoshop and WordPress-based websites.
IQA game scout — regularly scour social media channels and maintain constant contact with teams and regional directors for upcoming quidditch matches and use available information to draft a website blurb. Contact team captains when necessary to confirm or expand on information available online. Follow up with teams or other channels to report scores and results and post content after the match is over.
