Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Why not take a Time-Turner back into the Middle Ages by heading over to the New York City Medieval Festival to see some quidditch!
The IQA will be holding a couple of short demo matches at Manhattan’s Fort Tryon Park in New York on Sunday, October 2nd.
The New York Badassilisks, NYU Hipster Horcruxes, Jetpack Ninja Dinosaurs and Stony Brook University will be part of the festival’s opening parade and will then show Muggles how quidditch is played. Stop by and show your support for these NY-based quidditch teams!
The festival runs from 11:30am-6pm and is free to the public. Visitors can enjoy a variety of food entertainment, performances, crafts and much more.
Games being promptly at 11:30 AM and end at 12 PM at the jousting field in the north end of the festival grounds.
