Water Taxi tickets are now on sale as one of the primary transportation options to World Cup 2011 this November 12 & 13.
The taxi costs $9.00 round-trip. It departs from 90th street and the East River in Manhattan, and arrives at the ferry dock at Randall’s Island, which is immediately adjacent to the World Cup site.
The ferry terminal is accessed from 89th street and East End avenue through Carl Schurz park. Please consult the NY Waterways website for more details before making your trip: http://www.nywatertaxi.com/piers/east-90th-street. The nearest subway stop is the #4, 5, and 6 train stop (green line) at 86th street and Lexington Avenue.
The water taxi holds up to 75 World cup goers and will be departing every 20 minutes from east 90th street, starting at 6:45 AM and running until 10 PM.

Hi, I have a quick question about transportation: How late will the water taxis run back to Manhattan from Randall’s Island? This post says that they’ll run until 10 pm. But this program says that the headline concert on Saturday starts at 10 pm: http://www.worldcupquidditch.com/program.php — Will there be water taxi transportation available after the concert? Thanks!

Hi! I cannot get water taxi tickets through the site anymore because the event tickets are sold out. Is there another way to get them? Thanks!
