I’m just wondering, why is the picture from Carleton team and not Mcgill?

I would assume because Carleton hosted it, and maybe we didn’t have a team picture from McGill from that weekend (but I dunno).

There are plenty of pictures of the McGill team around, including on their page on this very website. So is the picture of Carleton being used simply because the author of the article is in it?

When the article was posted only hours after the tournament finished, it was the only photo available to the author. More photos of the event will be available shortly.

Speaking for myself and the rest of my team, I sincerly hope that you are not affilated with McGill in any way. There’s no need for that last line.

Hey Andrea,
I completely understand the situation with the photo. I was quite impressed with the speed the article made it online to begin with. Everyone on the McGill team would like to thank you for putting together such a great tournament. Everything ran through well and the level of play was quite enjoyable. It was a great day in Ottawa and an amazing day for Quidditch. I for one was so happy to see so many Canadian teams finally getting together. I hope that next year we will have even more. We all look forward to seeing you and the other Canadian teams in New York where we can hopefully work together to bring the World Cup to Canadian soil. Let’s not forget our awesome dance parties too. Once again, thank you and everyone else at Carleton who helped make the Canadian Cup a great success.
Cheers!

Indeed! All teams had a roster of 7-21 players. McGill just has an awesome support team and fan base, and brought snitches who were not a part of their competing team.
