University of New South Wales became Australia’s first quidditch champion Saturday after defeating University of Western Sydney 90-60 in the finals of the Quidditch Universities of Australia Federation League (QUAFL) Cup. Australian National University finished third.

Awesome! Congrats to all on a successful weekend full of quidditch. Hope it was wonderful and that other teams will consider traveling Down Under to play some scrimmages…
I also hope you stopped a swagman from stealing a jumbuck in his tuckerbag. Or at least caught a snitch in a billabong or up a coolibah tree. (Sorry, couldn’t resist!)

Was a spectacular weekend. As tournament scheduler/scorekeeper, and resident Newcastle Quidditch journalist!
