2012 will be the biggest, most important year for the IQA yet, and to accommodate our growth, the IQA volunteer team is expanding! The IQA is run entirely by a group of dedicated volunteers, and if you want to make a difference and have an impact on the direction of quidditch, apply to any of our openings posted below.

Hello, I wanted to know whether to volunteer must be U.S. only? I’m from Argentina in the case to accept people from other countries, I should pay my journey to where you make the championship?
thanks

Anyone may apply from any country. Most of our staff are spread out around the country and our central office is very small. We do most of our organization and communication via skype, so you can really be from any part of the world.

Just to clarify the referee program team member is like actually being a ref or is more a ref development system?
And do any of these positions have an application deadline?

Alex said above that you can volunteer from anywhere. So I would assume you can apply for whatever position. Though, I would assume organizing for the olympics might require a trip to London.

Are we permitted to apply/work in two different positions? I am interested in the London Olympics 2012 Organizing Team (which I am assuming will only last about 8 months) and in one of the long-term positions.
I know that I seem a little overly ambitious for asking this, but I know that I will have enough time for both during that time period.

Is there a due date for applying? I’m considering volunteering, because I’m interested in a few positions listed, but need to figure out just how hectic school is going to be for me.

Applications are due February 1st.
You can and should certainly apply for two different positions, although in general we are learning it is better to have people focus on one thing and do it superbly.

Unless it says otherwise, are the only things that need to be sent in a resume and a cover letter? There’s no application form or anything?

Hello,
Do we need any teams in THE OC? If so I would like to head some up. I would love to help out some how!
