This year’s (totally unofficial) Western Cup will be the largest quidditch tournament ever held west of the Mississippi. While last year’s event saw a total of 11 teams from the region, this year’s spectacular is expecting close to 20.
The event promises a silly amount of quidditch over two days, live entertainment, and a quidditch dance party for the ages. The event will take place in sunny Southern California, on UCLA’s intramural field the weekend of March 10 and 11.
Players and teams from all regions are welcome to compete in the tournament. We’re looking for all teams to be registered, or at least to have signaled interest, by Feb. 10. Limited free housing is available, with priority given for financial need and traveling distance.
Want to join the West for a study break to remember? Register your team, as an individual to be placed on a team for the weekend, or as a tournament volunteer today! Be excited, and we’ll see you in March!

It’s gonna be awesome!
PLEASE volunteer to ref if you can!!! Shortage of refs = refs having to go back to back to back with games for long periods of times = mental fatigue = increased chance for bad or missed calls.
