Despite losing the last game of the day, the Crimson Fliers scraped by with a win in the 2012 Utah Snow Cup.
With seven teams, the tournament was structured with a round-robin format. At the conclusion of the last game (which the Northern Arizona University Narwhals won with a surprise snitch snatch 70-50), there was a three way tie for first place on wins, so point differential put Utah in the top spot.
All of the teams celebrated later at the “Snow Ball.”

A few edits:
Denver defeated FYSU in the 11:40 match-up.
FYSU defeated BYU in the 2:00 game.
The Last Round-robin Final was NAU-70(snitch) Utah-60
There are a few other inaccurate scores that have been reported to me. George will submit the official scorebook.

Few of these scores are reversed: Denver beat FYSU in the 11:40 AM spot with that score (the winning team is reversed). In the BYU/FYSU game, FYSU won 100-30 (currently showing BYU winning 100-30).

I would also like to point out that the Denver Dementors were also a mixed with 4 of the players from the Moorpark Marauders Quidditch team. We were there, just hiding!

Awesome weekend, yes.
Minor correction: I think NAU-AUX was 20-50, not 20-80. It was easy to misread on the score sheet and I misread it at the Cup too at first.
