Despite losing the last game of the day, the Crimson Fliers scraped by with a win in the 2012 Utah Snow Cup.
With seven teams, the tournament was structured with a round-robin format. At the conclusion of the last game (which the Northern Arizona University Narwhals won with a surprise snitch snatch 70-50), there was a three way tie for first place on wins, so point differential put Utah in the top spot.
All of the teams celebrated later at the “Snow Ball.”
