Harry Potter fans across Italy will soon have the chance to witness the country’s first quidditch tournament in Milan.
Attendees of Potteraduno — an Italian Harry Potter convention happening the first weekend in February — are invited to register teams to play in a small tournament on Feb. 5. People are also welcome to sign up individually to be placed on a team.
Four teams are expected to compete. Games will be played by IQA rules.
Some Italians who have watched muggle quidditch matches online hope the event will help generate interest in the sport so that Italian teams can start forming.
