USC won the Western Cup championship on Sunday, narrowly beating hosts UCLA 70-60 with a come-behind snitch snatch.
UCLA had just survived a thrilling semi-final match against the Utah Crimson Fliers, who had drafted visiting players from Texas A&M, LSU, Kansas and Villanova.
The event was superbly organized, well-reffed, and featured 19 teams from the Western region, including the Qwertyrians from Tijuana, Mexico. Glorious weather continued across both days and hundreds of local fans came out to support the teams.
