Northeast Region Logo Contest Is Now Running!

by Kristina Moy | April 3rd, 2012

Calling all Northeasters: Do you love your region? Want to show some pride the next time you play Quidditch? Now is your chance!  The Northeast Region has officially launched a regional logo contest!

This a great opportunity to show of some artistic skills and passion for a great sport. We are now accepting submissions for a logo that can represent more than 100+ teams on the East Coast.

Submissions should:

  • Utilize 1-3 colors, at most
  • Be in at least 300dpi (in other words, high resolution for web and print purposes)
  • Incorporate images that can reflect Quidditch and/or the Northeast respectively
  • Be creative and original!

To enter this contest, please email your submission to Northeast Regional director Kristina Moy at k.moy@internationalquidditch.org. Limit one design per person. Please include your name, email address, location and team name (if applicable). Logo Submissions will close at 11:59pm EST on April 15th.

Voting will be opened after this date when logos will be posted up in a photo album in the Northeast Region IQA Facebook group for a first round of voting. To vote, simply ‘like’ a logo–it’s that easy. Voting closes at 11:59pm EST on April 29th and will be tallied up by the number of likes each logo receives. The final round of voting will be sent out to Northeast IQA teams only via email ballot. These votes will be submitted May 11th, and  we plan on publicly revealing the new Northeast logo the following day.

The winner of the contest will be able to choose one item from the IQA store AND receive a signed thank you card from Alex Benepe and Alicia Radford. And, of course, they get to take credibility for having their design used for online and print marketing and even merch (patches, t-shirts, etc.).

Questions? Email Kristina Moy or Andrew Canto (andrew.canto@internationalquidditch.org). Looking forward to seeing awesome designs. Cheers, and good luck!
