Attention all Canadian quidditch players!
The IQA’s U.K. Summer Games Planning Committee is looking for an interested Canadian quidditch player or fan to take the position of team coordinator for a potential Canadian National Team. The coordinator will work with the committee to examine the options for a Canadian National Team to join the U.S. and U.K. Teams this summer in the U.K. exhibition matches. The IQA is very interested in having a Canadian team participate in the exhibition, and the coordinator will be a key figure in making that participation a possibility.
Duties of the team coordinator may include:
- Exploring and proposing options for a Canadian National Team
- Working with the planning committee to manage and the team’s involvement with the Games, including housing, transportation, etc.
- Potentially developing and overseeing the team’s selection process
- Potentially developing and overseeing fundraising programs for the team
Interested candidates should email their resumes and a cover letter (explaining why they are best able to perform the duties listed) to Andrea Hill at email@example.com
Additionally, if you are from another nation and believe you have the ability to organize a team and spearhead all fundraising necessary to transport the team to the UK this July, please email your resume and cover letter (as described above) to Andrea.
Please be aware that the selection of a team coordinator does not guarantee the formation of a Canadian National Team
