The IQA Summer Games (July 8-9) are fast approaching and
so far there are confirmed teams from the United States, the United
Kingdom, France, and Australia. However, Canada does not have a team -
yet! It is last minute, but there is a group of us trying to make a team
to represent Canada for this international event. If you are at all

Feel free to ask questions, make suggestions, invite anybody who might be
interested, etc. You can also message me personally via Facebook. On the page,  please
enter our poll to indicate if you are ready to commit or are even just
considering it.
Who can be on the team? Any Canadian Quidditch players are welcome,
including Canadians who have been playing on American teams or any
international teams (if you are already in Europe it would be super cheap
for you!). Also, anybody who plays for a Canadian team but is not
Canadian is also welcome if you are happy to represent Canada at the
games! Costs are still being determined, and will likely vary as we will
be flying there from different parts of the country. However, many of us
have been finding return flights from $500 – $1000, and there are lots of
opportunities for free or very cheap accommodation once we are there. Let
us know if you have any fundraising ideas! The main thing right now
though is to express your interest ASAP so that we can confirm our
participation in this amazing event. Thanks so much!
