Zach D’Amico (Villanova ’13) has been selected by the IQA Board of Directors to join as the first ever Junior Director position, a post granted to a current player that is slated to change over on an annual basis, to guarantee that there is always at least one current player on the IQA’s Board of Directors.
Zach was a stand-out applicant, and was selected based not only on his outstanding role as a player and leader in the IQA, but also for his long term vision for the sport. He is particularly interested in the development and contrasting needs of national and international competition. Additionally, having sustained many injuries himself over his years of playing, he is motivated to spearhead initiatives to make the game safer.
The IQA’s Board serves to uphold the mission of the IQA and set long term goals for the organization and the sport. This differs from its management team, which comprises department directors (gameplay, world cup, teams, membership, human resources, marketing, and technology).

Players, fans, or other IQA members with questions or comments can reach Zach at zach.damico@internationalquidditch.org
