Ball State University
The Ball State Quidditch League was founded in the fall of 2009 by Hannah Lindgren and Derek Garibaldi.

The BSQL is also its own chapter of the Harry Potter Alliance, which is a J.K. Rowling-backed group of Harry Potter-loving people who just want to spread a little love to the parts of the world that need it the most.

The Ball State Quidditch League is quickly becoming one of the more well-respected quidditch teams in the Midwest.

After competing in a few tournaments, BSQL hosted their own. In April 2011, they co-hosted a successful quidditch invitational with Purdue Intercollegiate Quidditch Association.

In October 2011 BSQL teamed up with PIQA once again to co-host the Midwest Cup held at Conner Prairie in Fishers, Indiana. The Midwest Cup was the largest IQA regional tournament that took place that year. BSQL placed 5th.

The team had the most successful semester yet in Spring 2012, going undefeated in every game they played and winning two tournaments.

In the Fall of 2012, the team placed first in two more tournaments, at the 2nd Annual Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore Memorial Tournament at Indiana University, South Bend and at the Phoenix Cup at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. In November, BSQL placed 3rd of 23 teams at the Midwest Regional in Mason, OH, which qualified the team for the World Cup in April.
