Emerson Quidditch began with just 14 freshman in 2008 who thought it would be a fun idea to try.
After a successful afternoon of Quidditch playing, the idea grew into a multi-departmental Quidditch League.
Today, ECQ has turned into an organization with over 200 members and growing (one of the largest clubs on campus). We have a marketing, media, photography, administration, referee and snitch department on top of our five house-league teams (intramural).
The Emerson league consists of five teams who compete weekly throughout the Fall and Spring seasons (The Pulverizers, The Berserkers, The Falcons, The Jaguars, and The Outlaws). We strive to provide an intense but friendly atmosphere. The seasons culminate in a championship cup exhibition.
Emerson also has a World Cup team comprised of the "all-star" members from each of our House League teams. This team has competed at nearly every world cup placing second two years ago and fifth last year.
