The Denver Dementors
The Denver Dementors were founded in 2011, following a mass breakout from Azkaban. In order to keep the prisoners from rioting or attempting another escape, the Ministry of Magic ruled that it was in the public interest for the inmates to have an outlet for their pent up energy, aggression, and bloodlust. However, since all inmates at Azkaban have suppression charms on their magic, it was unanimously decided that they would play Muggle Quidditch. The team is comprised of a motley crew of former Death Eaters, Dark creatures, and the sadistically insane, who all take great pride in their work. The constant drilling keeps them ready for the inevitable return of Lord Voldemort. Coming from a strong opening at the Northern Colorado Cup, the Denver Dementors now seek to conquer the rest of the Quidditch playing world. Feel free to stop by for a practice. They probably won't steal your soul.

Dementors sighted at the Snow Cup!

It was a long and brutal weekend at the Utah Snow Cup. A furious blizzard almost made travel in and out of Azkaban impossible but the Denver Dementors pressed on. They wasted no time in stealing the souls of the Moorpark Marauders, who were then made to play for the team. The Dementors came in 5th place at the tournament and vowed they would return in the middle of the night to steal them away into the woods. Rumor has it that two of the Captains had a Wizard Duel later that evening at the Snow ball, ending with a Cruciatus Curse and the Killing Curse. However, all Azkaban officials state that all Dementors are present and accounted for.
