University of Miami

The University of Miami's quidditch team was founded in the Spring of 2010. Since then, we have contributed hundreds of hours to community service activities in the Coral Gables and greater Miami communities. We were awarded by the Committee on Student Organizations at the University of Miami for Outstanding Athletic Achievement and Best New Club Sport.

Since it's founding, MQUM has accomplished quite a lot. We are the champions of the 2011 and 2012 Swamp Cup, first in the FQC and South. MQUM placed 18th in World Cup V, held the #1 ranked spot for several weeks, 2nd at The Hollywood Bowl, and went undefeated for +20 straight games. Two team members were nominated, selected, and started for Team USA at the 2012 IQA Summer Games in Oxford, England.

MQUM is the 3 time southern regional champion, with the 2013 championship bringing a new level of dominance to the south with a 1000pt point differential. and more shutouts than goals allowed over all. We are looking forward to WC6 and a bright future for the program.
