University of Vaasa
Quidditch arrived in Finland this past December 2010 in the University of Vaasa. The mini-tournament had four teams made out of students from countries like Italy, France, Mexico, Finland, Germany, Japan, Spain and of course Finland.
In spring 2011 during a school trip to the Harvard National MUN members of the delegation played Quidditch against teams from the Northeast (Harvard, Stony Brook, Vassar...) in the first intercontinental matches.
Now we are on summer break but this coming august we start recruiting and forming our World Cup team for November's World Cup. We will also have intramural games in the University of Vaasa and hopefully some match with other European teams soon after.
Now we are preparing for the World Cup in NY!
