University of Virginia Whomping Wahoos
Founded by James "Travis" Taylor in summer 2011 before his first year at the University of Virginia, the Whomping Wahoos team first became active in the fall of 2011. The team was able to begin playing in official Virginia Quidditch League matches in the spring of 2012, playing in unranked and ranked matches and tournaments. Captains Anna Leonard and Kyle Stolcenberg manage the team with the aid of Commissioner Travis Taylor. Players include: Shannon Bush, Travis Taylor, Kyle Stolcenberg, Jess Smith, Niki Olson, Suzy Kenney, Hannah Rosenfeld, Anna Leonard, Catherine Quinn, Chris Fu, Praneeth Nadipalli, Nate Rathjen, Brian Stanley, Brian Ammer, Quentin Moore, Eric Waller, Erik Morlock, Connor Ellis, Devon Rea, Ellie Crosby, Keegan Thomas, Graham Rockwood, and Matthew Schwartz.
