WEQL Griffins
The WEQL Griffins High School Community team is a team consisting of players from Allegany-Limestone and Lake Shore high schools, as well as a few members from local colleges. Created in August of 2011 by Jefferson Dedrick and Nic Pendl of Allegany, NY, the team has sprouted and taken on many members of all ages. The team competes with colleges such as University of Rochester, RIT, SUNY Fredonia, and many others, as well as other high school teams such as the Aquinas Institute QC and WEQL's rivals, City Honors. The team is accepting new players of all positions, and would be more than happy to open their doors to anyone who wants to learn the sport of quidditch.
