The IQA Western region, made up of Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii, is one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States, with major Quidditch concentrations in Southern California and the Bay Area.

The West team, in strong form and easily the sexiest group of people on the pitch, takes third at QuidCon in a snitch-decision game against the Northeast.
